    A Small Leak?

A small leak may not seem like much but consider:
    Gallons Lost
Opening Size Per Hour Per Month
    1/2 in 1,350 972,000
    1/4 in 375 270,000
    1/8 in 160 108,000
    1/16 in 30 21,000
    1/32 in 7.5 5,400

A leaking toilet can use as much as 200 gallons per day! You can test your toilet for leaks by putting food coloring in the reservoir. Wait 30 minutes and check to see if the color is in the bowl. If it is, even if you don’t hear it, you have a leak.

    Avoid Costly Repairs

Pouring used cooking oil or grease down the drain seems like a good way to dispose of it. However, the oil and grease will build up in the sewer pipes just like it does in your arteries. Once the sewer flow slows down enough, we’ll have to replace those pipes. By pouring your grease into cans and taking to the local recycling centers or wiping out the dish and throwing the towel in the trash, you will avoid this costly repair!
